In Memory Of
Joyce S. Robbins
1945 - 2017

Joyce S. Robbins, age 71, passed away April 6, 2017. She was born October 17, 1945 to the late Everett and Sudie Dozier in Harlan, Kentucky.

Joyce enjoyed going camping with family, crocheting blankets and scarfs. She loved baking and her family will miss her soft peanut butter cookies. Joyce retired after 37 years as a Dietary Worker at Toledo Hospital. She was a hardworking, strong willed mother of three boys and raised them all on her own. Joyce was dedicated to her family also, by taking in and raising her first born granddaughter. Every holiday she would welcome family and friends to celebrate at her home.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving sons and granddaughter, Byron, Chris (Beth), Jack (Angie) and April; siblings, Jim Dozier and Margie Findley; grandchildren, Marybeth Friess, Kendra (Ben) Crosby, Samantha Robbins, Chris Robbins Jr., Courtney Robbins, Jessie, Crystal, Zelina, Tyler and Nikki; great-grandchildren, Angel, Jordan, Melody, Logan and Nora; and many friends. Joyce was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

The family will host a Celebration of Life in Joyce’s honor at her home. Please contact the family directly for date and time.
