Paul L. "Biggie" Stevenson, Sr., age 67, of Oregon, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 25, 2017. He was born on May 1, 1949 to Marvin Stevenson and Mary (Burns) Branham in Sharon, Pennsylvania. For over 31 years he was a union laborer for Local 500, retiring as a foreman in 2010. Paul was an avid gardener and fisherman and he loved the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Brenda (Anderson) Stevenson; children, Sheila Hamblin, William "Bill" Wainscott, Paula (Vincent) Lewinski and Paul (Kristy) Stevenson, Jr.; grandchildren, Clinton, Kaylee, Jessica, Vinnie, Chrislyn, Michelle, Nicole and Clayton; great-grandchildren, Noah, Kaedence and Rilee; siblings, Sally (Duck) Lewis, Judy (Newt) Adkins, George Stevenson, Ruth (Larry) Scott, Florence (Dick) Akins, James (Tina) Stevenson, Jr. (Nancy) Stevenson, Larry Stevenson, Jesse (Becky) Stevenson and Owen Branham; mother in law, Linda Mae Anderson; brother in law, Kelly (Joey) Anderson; nephews, Troy Adkins and many additional nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant brother, John Boy; brother, Robert "Bobbie" Stevenson and infant grandson, Paul L. Stevenson, III.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
