1976 - 2017

Anthony “Tony” Lands, age 40, of Toledo, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center surrounded by loving family. He was born on November 9, 1976 to John and Erlinda (Uribe) Lands in Toledo. Tony worked with Educare Academy for over 15 years where he will be deeply missed. He had a heart for Christ, evident in his willingness to help anyone in need. Tony was an artist who loved to draw, with a passion for architecture and design. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his siblings.

Tony is survived by his loving parents, John and Linda; siblings, Margaret (Lands) DeLeon, John Franklin Lands, III and twin sister, Rhonda Marie Lands; nephews, Frankie and Alexander; niece, Mariah; paternal grandmother, Frances Price; paternal grandfather, John Lands, Sr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Amelia Uribe and Luis Uribe and paternal grandfather, Richard Price.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300).

Funeral Services will take place Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Tony’s family.
