On March 23, 2017, after a long and fulfilling life, Pearl died peacefully at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Born July 8, 1925 to William and Norah Webb in Windsor, Ontario.

She was the widow of Elwood Russell (died 1978) of Detroit and the mother of the late Brian and Bruce, their young children. She was predeceased by her second husband, Larry Petteys of Waterville (died 2014).

Pearl’s older brother, Charles, died in 1989. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen (Robert) Saunders of Toronto, Canada; her sisters-in-law, Vickie (Bill) Halsey of Swanton and BJ (John) Anthony of Long Beach, California and by younger members of an extended family.
Her Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900).
