Ronald Jerome "Ron" Orban, age 88, of Toledo, passed away March 14, 2017 at Heartland at ProMedica in Sylvania. Ron was born January 22, 1929 in Phillips, Wisconsin to Frank and Olga (Sedlock ) Orban . Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a lifelong plumber, having worked in the industry for over 60 years in the Toledo area. Ron was dedicated to the trade and was called upon by many for his knowledge and expertise. Ron and his late wife, Margaret (Wegener) Orban were lifelong members of Memorial Lutheran Church. A lifetime sprint car enthusiast, Ron was avid about attending numerous races throughout the area.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Margaret in 2009; daughter, Ronna (Orban) Turkopp in 2008 and brother, Norman Frances Orban in 2006. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Rochelle M. (Floyd) Krieghoff; grandson, Geoffrey; many dear nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

At Ron's request, a memorial service will be held in the spring.
