Naomi (Mathews) Horton, age 89, passed away on March 18, 2017. She was born on September 27, 1927 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to the late Ruth (Joiner) and Edward “Red” Mathews.

Naomi was a member of First Christian Church in Kingfisher. She married Joseph Horton on May 24, 1984. She retired from Cimmaron Electric.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and brother, Maybern “Red” Mathews. Left to cherish her memory is her nephew, Doug (Sue) Mathews; great-niece and nephew, Crystal and Dustin.

The family will receive guests on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Graveside services will take place at a later date at Kingfisher Cemetery in Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
