Holly Sobiecki passed away suddenly in St. Luke’s Hospital on Tuesday, March 14th surrounded by her family. She was 45.
Holly was born December 4th, 1971 and was a proud graduate of DeVilbiss H.S. class of ’89. She loved sports and was a diehard fan of the Detroit Tigers and was looking forward to opening day. She also loved the Chicago Bears, Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed attending every UT football and Basketball game with her sister.
She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Sobiecki; cousins Sandy Wolf and Adrienne Simon. She is survived by her mother Judith Sobiecki; sister Christine Thompson; niece Jennifer Thompson; nephew Jordan Thompson; a host of many cousins and her very special friends; Guy Schlosser, Jane Butler and Chris Sterns.
Memorial Contributions can be sent to the Toledo Zoo in Holly’s memories as she loved the animals there.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900).
