Bonnie Sue Rhodes, age 75, of Toledo, Ohio passed away February 15, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born June 2, 1941 in Toledo to Oscar and Charlotte (Melchoir) Heer. Bonnie was employed with Toledo Public Schools as a Paraprofessional for more than 33 years.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Robin (Mark) Schaub, Heidi (Dennis) Barda, Tami (Bob) Neubert; known as “Munga” to her grandchildren, Megan Schaub, Jacob Neubert, Molly Schaub, Jason Barda, Abby Neubert and Josh Barda; siblings, Jim (Kathy) Heer, Steve (Sue) Heer and Lynn Mellon; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests, Monday, February 20, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo (419-381-1900). A Sharing of Memories will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Diabetes Association, Alzheimer’s Association and Breast Cancer Awareness in Bonnie's memory.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center for their exceptional care of Bonnie.
