Harold J. Stoner, Jr. age73, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at home. He was born on February 27, 1943 to Harold Sr. and Bessie (Draves) in Toledo. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and going to local diner with friends, his favorite being Mama’s Kitchen. Harold loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles and Sally. Harold is survived by his loving children, Mike (Natasha Salazar) Stoner, Allen (Diana Conrad) Stoner and Christy (George) Velazquez; grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Elizabeth “Captain”, Gabrielle, Zachary, Petra, Justine, Kayla, Brittney, Monique and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Marley-Mae and Eli; siblings, Gene (Marcia) Stoner, Donna (Tim) Sobczak and Don Stoner; aunt, Lois Camp; and many other family and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the family or the Veterans Administration.
