Lucille P. “Lucy” Kunckel, age 48, of Luna Pier, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 21, 2016 in Petoskey, MI surrounded by loving family. She was born on October 10, 1968 to Donald and Karen (Powers) Harrison in Toledo. Lucy graduated from Stateline Christian High School in 1986. She enjoyed crafting, author of fan fiction, an avid reader, traveling and helping others. Lucy loved spending time with her family and friends.

Lucille is survived by her loving children, Shawn (Brooke) Kunckel and Mozelle Kunckel; grandson, Aiden; parents, Don and Karen Harrison; siblings, Paula (Mike) Peio, Clifford (Kim) Harrison and Robert (Dianne) Harrison; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Victory Center, Sylvania, Ohio.

Lucy’s family requests that you not wear pink or any cancer awareness clothing to come honor her memory; that would be greatly appreciated by all of them. They just want to remember Lucy for the vibrant amazing woman she was.
