Dama Seyfried, age 95, of Maumee, passed away October 16, 2016 at Elizabeth Scott Nursing Home. Dama was born September 19, 1921 in Kenmore, Ohio to Charles and Helen (Kennedy) Doan. She was employed with the B and F Oxygen Co. for many years retiring in the 1980's. Loved to work at a gladiolus farm and met her future husband at the Isaly’s store in Ravenna, Ohio. She was a baker, loved to bake from her home and do so professionally. Dama was a very hard worker, working for various employers in order to help provide for her family. She and her husband, Harold, loved to round dance during their retirement years in Dundee, Fl. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her Son, Charles (Linda) Seyfried, Son, William (Sharon) Seyfried, Son, Larry (Jody) Seyfried, Daughter, Cathy Sue (Mike) McClellan; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold, grandson, Kyle Seyfried and 6 brothers and sisters.

The family will receive guests at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 2 - 4 pm. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday. Burial will be private.

In liew of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society; Hospice of Northwest Ohio or The Alzheimer's Association in Dama's memory.
