Sylvia J. Fouty, age 79, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 14, 2016 at University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born March 15, 1937 in Toledo to Arthur and Cecilia (Blum) Miller. She was a graduate of Waite High School and lived in Oregon, Ohio for many years before moving to the Holland/Toledo area in 1996. Sylvia worked for the Kroger Co. on McCord Road in Holland, Ohio until retiring.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Kathleen Rogers, Michael (Cheryl) Buck and Jeffery (Shari) Morse; grandchildren, Shane (Ashley), Blake, Mike (Kaycee), Mikaela, Tanner, Kendall, Kadie and Kami; great-grandchildren, Ava, Samuel, Kylee, Mikayla, Aubrey and Maverick; loving brother, Art Miller; and her beloved dog Tootsie whom she adored with her whole heart. In addition to her parents Sylvia was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Anderson; infant daughter; brother, Sylvester Kwiatkowski; husband Charles Buck (1967) and “forever her children’s father” as she always so lovingly referred to him as Wayne Morse (1997).

The family wishes to thank the residents of her community at Waterford for always looking out for her and being her friend. We are so deeply touched by your outpouring of love and support for our Mom.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
