Joanne G. Christ, age 89, of Toledo, passed away September 26, 2016 at her home. She was born September 18, 1927 in Butler, Indiana to Frank and Evelyn (Higgins) McDonald. Joanne was employed as a purchasing agent with Odland Iron for more than 10 years, retiring in 2002. She loved genealogy and searching on ancestry.com.
Joanne is survived by her sons, Daniel Christ and Michael Christ; and sister, Phyllis Decker.
The family will receive guests Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 am. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
