Kathleen L. Baker Filson, age 66, of Maumee, Ohio passed away August 24th at Hospice of Northwest Ohio talking with and surrounded by family listening to Elton John. She was born February 8th, 1950 in San Diego, CA.

Her passion and career was caring for others as a Nurse and Dietician. She also owned a clothing boutique in Bryan, Ohio. Kathy enjoyed her family, the lake, gardening, photography, and relaxing with her husband Bob. She loved traveling to Florida and enjoyed the most magical place on Earth, Disney World.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Michelle, Nolan, Scott, Rhonda, and Chris; grandchildren, Jon, Andrew, Carter, Caylin, Ethan, Cody, Emily, Liam, Brady, and Hayley; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Tamara, Liz, Edie, Mary; brother, Edward; and her wonderful dog, Louie. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Edith; father, Edward; son, Christopher; and grandson, Preston.

Friends and family are welcome for visitation, Saturday, August 27th, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43614 (419) 381-1900. Funeral Services will be at 11:30 AM with grave side service following at Riverside Cemetery in Maumee.
