Randolph M. “Randy” LaPoint, age 59, of Swanton, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 19, 1956 to Rudolph and Judith LaPoint in Toledo. Randy was a longtime member of Grace Family Fellowship. He loved to help others, enjoyed working with computers, camping and fishing and spending time with friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald, Rudolph III and Shawn LaPoint. Randy is survived by his loving children, Sirena LaPoint and Aaren LaPoint; mother of his children, Molly Woolard; grandchildren, Brayden LaPoint and Mylah Mowery; sisters, Roxanne (John) Parris, Renee LaPoint, Gina LaPoint and Deanna (Harry) Milner; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday from 3 – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
