Brian E. May, age 42 of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, passed away tragically on Monday, August 15, 2016 in Toledo. He was born on August 1, 1974 to Paul E. and Janet M. (Tabbert) May in Toledo. Brian attended Whiteford Agricultural High School. Most recently Brian worked as a dry wall finisher for the Cement Masons & Plasterers Local 886 - 404 / Toledo Local 7.

Brian was a loving and devoted father to his son, Cody, his pride and joy. He was a huge fan of Michigan Wolverines and New York Giants Football. His family will remember him for his great sense of humor, good work ethic, practical jokes and how he would offer a lending hand to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Janet; son, Cody; sister, Brenda Tabbert; brother, Jason May; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dear friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul May in 2015.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Dan Adams officiating.
