Ricky A. "Rick" Thompson, age 57, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 unexpectedly due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. He was born on August 15, 1958 to Melvin and Lenora (Ball) Thompson in Toledo. Most recently Ricky worked for Cassen Transportation as a driver. His passions were motorcycles, go-carts, camping, hunting and his grandchildren. Ricky enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His family will remember him for his great sense of humor, his quick wit and famous one-liners.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 37 years, Suzanne (Komives) Thompson; daughter, Dawn (Jamie) Thompson-Mygatt; son, Ricky A. (Adrienne) Thompson, Jr.; grandchildren, Jacob, Riley, Dawson and MaKayla; brothers, Ron (Kim) Thompson and Paul (Kim) Thompson; best friend, Billy (Wanda) Schlegel; numerous nieces, nephews and host of dear friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Jerry Craig officiating.
