Barbara J. Imber, age 79, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at home. She was born on June 28, 1936 to Harry and Genevieve (Barrett) Lee in Toledo. Barb was a longtime member of Regina Coeli and sang in the choir. She was also a Eucharistic Minister. Barb was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck; her beloved grandson, Chandler Reed; siblings, Pete and Jackie. Barb is survived by her loving children, Chuck Jr., Al (Sandy), Angela (Ray) Reed-Immormino and Greg; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn (Al) Livecchi, Kathy Toney, Bill Lee and Mike (Linda) Lee; and brother-in-law, Ray (Jackie) LeBlanc.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Coeli Parish, 530 Regina Parkway, Toledo. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
Those wishing to make memorial donations are asked to consider St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
