1944 - 2016

Pete R. Molina, age 71, of Toledo, left this life surrounded by his loving family on May 4th, 2016 at University of Michigan Medical Center.

Pete served his country honorably in the 25th Infantry Division, completing two tours in Vietnam, earning the Army Commendation Medal of Valor. After returning home, Pete worked for the railroad for over 40 years, retiring in 2010. Pete enjoyed cooking and barbecuing, especially for family on Sunday afternoons.

In addition to his parents Lee and Dominga Molina , Pete was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Billy. Pete is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Pam; daughter, Michelle; son, Peter; proud Papa of, Aliya, Kaelin, Kodie, Cece and Stella; sisters, Sue and Linda; brother and best friend, Dean, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, May 10th, 2016 from 3 - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 11:00 am. at the funeral home followed with burial at Highland Memory Gardens.

The family would like to extend a "special thank you" to all of the nurses and doctors for their wonderful care of Pete. Also special thank you to all the kind and generous people we've met along the way.
