Jean worked at Owens-Illinois for 10 years as a secretary. She then devoted her time to caring for her family. Jean was a long-time resident of Point Place where she was a member of St. John’s The Baptist Church. Jean and her family relocated to Utah for three years until returning for the birth of her first grandchild. The most important thing in the entire world to her was spending time with her loving family.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 59 years, Jerry; son, Jeff (Connie) Wojcik; daughter, Marisa Wojcik; brothers, Raymond and Edward Gargac; grandchildren, Paige and Grant; god-daughter, Cindy Vetter. She was preceded in death by her 9 brothers and sisters.
The family will receive guests on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Parish, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
