Forest H. Fannin, age 85, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016. He was born on June 18, 1930 to Epp and Hazel (Reed) Fannin in Salyersville, Kentucky. Forest retired from Haughton Elevator after 37 years of service.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Tim Fannin, Debbie (Paul) Jacoby and Bart (Nikki) Fannin; grandchildren, Jackie, Ben, Paul, Jordan, Niko, Cindy, Shiela, Dawn and Tracy; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Sue Irving, Dr. Kerby Fannin and Judy Harris; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Forest was preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years, Mary (Garber) Fannin; children, Vickie Dombkowski and Keith Fannin; siblings, Betty Lou Fannin, Billy Fannin, Nancy Polcwiartek and Rev. David Fannin.

The family will receive guests on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300), with services starting at Noon with Dr. Kerby Fannin officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
