Diane E. Blaesing, age 67, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on February 23, 1949 to Robert and Kathryn (Mason) Kelly in Toledo, OH. Diane retired in 1986 from Ford Motor Co. - Maumee Stamping Plant where she was one of the first female foreman. In her spare time she enjoyed needle point, cross stitch, gardening, was an avid reader and had a love for fast cars, especially her Mustang.

Left to cherish her fiery spirit are her children, Bob Blaesing, Mark Blaesing and Angela (Justin) Mortemore; grandchildren, Bobby, Daniel, Layla, Stella and Asher and sister, Patricia (Michael) Lutheran; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Marcus Blaesing and nephew, Andrew Lutheran.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
